This position's purpose is to examine a taxpayer's records onsite or in-office, in a timely and efficient manner while determining if sales, use, and special taxes are properly collected and remitted to the state, and to educate taxpayers about tax compliance within their business. Duties include:Conduct field and office audits for sales, use and special taxesEducate taxpayers on the application of sales, use and special taxes within their businessAssist in various compliance functions for sales, use and special taxesAssist other audit staff in more complex audits for sales, use and special taxesAssist in identifying non-compliant taxpayers Day travel will be required to surrounding areas with the possibility of overnight stay.

Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.

The therapist is responsible for providing Brief Strategic Family Therapy Services for families where a child or children are at-risk of out-of-home placement. With a focus on family preservation, this position will utilize philosophy and skills acquired through Brief Strategic Family Therapy model training and passing competency panel. Preferred service areas are Northeast ND and Central ND.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in mental health, social work, family-marriage area of counseling or related fieldOR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of clinical experience working with families may qualify. : Conduct voluntary boater surveys and watercraft inspections. Openings available at Bismarck, Valley City, Riverdale, Jamestown, and select locations around Lake Sakakawea. Ideal applicants will live locally and be assigned to cover a specific ramp(s) during the boating season. A fisheries seasonal aide position is open in Williston and Riverdale. These positions will split time preforming creel duties and assist fisheries biologists with netting surveys. Essential Functions:Watercraft InspectorSurvey watercraft users and perform boat inspections to monitor for the presence of Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS).Educate the public on strategies to prevent the spread of ANS.Perform duties as assigned by the ANS Biologist.Individuals must be able to work weekends and holidays.Fisheries Seasonal AideAssist fisheries personnel with reproduction and population test netting, trap and transport of different fish species, limnological sampling, and spawning activities.
