The ND Department of Emergency Services is sponsoring G2300 Intermediate EOC Functions, July 14-16, 2020 at the Quality Inn, 1030 E Interstate Ave., Bismarck.  Class will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end by 5:00 p.m. each day.

The G 2300 Intermediate Emergency Operations Center Functions is a three day course with the goal of assisting individuals and jurisdictions who desire to develop or improve their Emergency Operation Centers (EOC). By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate, through activities and a Final Exam, the managerial and operational roles of the modern-day EOC as a NIMS Command and Coordination functional group operating within a Multiagency Coordination System (MACS).

This class is highly recommended for new emergency managers and is required for Emergency Management Support Team Members who have not already taken G775 Emergency Operations Center Management.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Comfort Suites (701-223-4009), 929 Gateway Ave., Bismarck.  Ask for the "DES EOC Functions" block.  Reservations must be made by June 30, 2020 to receive the group rate.  ND Department of Emergency Services will reimburse appropriate students who live or work in ND, for hotel for the nights of July 13-15, 2020 at state rate, and meal per diem.  We do not reimburse for mileage or fuel costs.

Questions may be directed to Larry Regorrah or Brenda Vossler.
