The ND Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) in cooperation with anchor jurisdictions has established four (4) response areas for hazardous materials and structural collapse emergency response.
NORTHWEST REGION
- Minot Fire Department (Hazmat Technician Level, Structural Collapse)
- Williston Fire Department (Hazmat Operations Level)
SOUTHWEST REGION
- Bismarck Fire Department (Hazmat Technician Level, Structural Collapse)
- Dickinson Fire Department (Hazmat Operations Level)
NORTHEAST REGION
- Grand Forks Fire Department (Hazmat Technician Level, Structural Collapse)
- Devils Lake Fire Department (Hazmat Operations Level)
SOUTHEAST REGION
- Fargo Fire Department (Hazmat Technician Level, Structural Collapse)
- Jamestown Fire Department (Hazmat Operations Level)
An Incident Commander can request a Regional Hazardous Materials/Structural Collapse Team by either contacting the team directly or through State Radio at (800) 472-2121.
